Techmates Group is looking for a Delivery Manager and Release Train Engineer to join our innovative team to help provide guidance for ongoing and new projects.

About You:Â The Delivery Manager and Release Train Engineer is responsible for overseeing and facilitating the successful delivery of software products and managing the Release Train, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals, Agile principles, and customer expectations. This role requires a strong blend of project management, leadership, and Agile expertise.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Release Train Leadership:
  • Lead and facilitate the Agile Release Train (ART) and its teams.
  • Coordinate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with the Program Backlog and strategic objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of Agile excellence.
  • Organize and drive PI Planning and Pre PI Planning events.
2. Program Management:
  • Create and maintain the Program Increment (PI) roadmap and release plans.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of the release train.
  • Identify and address potential bottlenecks and impediments that may impact delivery.
3. Delivery Management:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of software products.
  • Monitor and manage the delivery schedule, budget, and scope.
  • Mitigate risks and issues, making data-driven decisions to keep the train on track.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, computer science, engineering, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
  • Certification as a SAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE) or equivalent Agile certifications.
  • Proven experience in Agile software delivery and Agile leadership roles.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in leading large-scale software development projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong client relationship skills
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban, and their application in a scaled Agile environment.
Additional Requirements:
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools, such as Jira or Trello.
