What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Represent the Department in local, state, and national partnerships
• Act as a single point of contact for Local Workforce Development Boards/Areas
• Promote a continuous improvement culture within the team
• Coordinate with public workforce system partners to implement the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) State Plan
• Manage organizational and interagency dynamics in a team-oriented environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
• Bachelor's Degree in public administration, business administration, or related field
• Five years of experience in Workforce Development, Economic Development, or related field
• Knowledge of long-range and strategic planning concepts
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• Master's Degree in public administration, business administration, or related field
• Seven years of experience in Workforce Development, Economic Development, or related field
• Strong project management skills
• Demonstrated facilitation skills
• Experience in managing organizational and interagency dynamics
