About the position

The Principal Business Analyst for Revenue Cycle at Mayo Clinic is a senior role focused on managing business partner engagement and leading business analysis initiatives. This position requires collaboration with internal leaders, stakeholders, and vendors to influence and execute strategic objectives. The analyst will provide mentorship, develop business analysis approaches, and ensure that solutions meet business requirements while driving efficiency and effectiveness in operations.

    Responsibilities
  • Manage Business Partner Engagement alongside the Division Chair of Revenue Cycle.

  • Synthesize and drive solutions between operations, work units, suppliers, and technical areas.

  • Provide direction, coaching, training, and mentorship for team members and colleagues.

  • Develop the business analysis approach using a data-driven methodology.

  • Ensure developed solutions satisfy stated requirements and business objectives.

  • Develop strategic partnerships with internal and external business entities.
  • ,
  • Research and consolidate information to identify potential business relationships and partnerships.

  • Analyze operational procedures and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Stay current on industry knowledge, practices, and trends.
    Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience in business analysis, business administration, engineering, information science, health, or a science-related field.
  • ,
  • OR a Master's degree and 7 years of experience in the same fields.
  • ,
  • CBAP Certified Business Analysis Professional, CCBA Certification of Competency in Business Analysis, or PMI-PBA Professional in Business Analysis preferred.
  • ,
  • Prior leadership experience and executive presence are preferred.
