Join us and see what Hulugan life is all about.</p><p><br /><b>Job Summary:</b><br />Hulu’s Consumer and Market Insights team is seeking a Sr Strategic Insights Manager (Product) who will be an outstanding addition to our team. In this role at Hulu, you will be a dedicated research resource in support of driving forward Hulu business priorities via improvements and innovation to the Hulu experience. The right person for this role is a collaborative partner to the business, has strong project management skills, and can use insights to inform both strategic and tactical decision making. This position will be on-site in Santa Monica, CA up to four days/week.</p><p><br /><b>What you’ll do</b></p><ul><li><p>Partner with business stakeholders, particularly in the product and design orgs supporting Hulu, to develop a research roadmap that supports their business objectives as well as the overall business priorities of Hulu.</p></li><li><p>Lead the complete process of planning and executing qualitative and quantitative research studies, from development of the research instrument and survey programming to data analysis and presentation of findings.</p></li><li><p>Develop insights to impact key KPIs related to subscriber engagement, content discovery, customer satisfaction, app usability and subscriber retention.</p></li><li><p>Conduct a balance of broad, strategic research aimed at pushing thinking forward as well as more tactical projects to understand the impact of initiatives on the business.</p></li><li><p>Guide and mentor more junior researchers on the projects relevant to this area of scope.</p></li></ul><p><br /><b>What to bring</b></p><ul><li><p>BA/BS preferred or will consider commensurate years of experience</p></li><li><p>5+ years of custom research project experience, preferably with some years dedicated to research on digital product experiences</p></li><li><p>Experience with managing all phases in successful execution of research projects, including managing timelines, questionnaire design, data collection and analysis, reporting and presentations. Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a given time.</p></li><li><p>Experience with A/B testing and integrating primary research into the testing process</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of a variety of market research methodologies and their applications</p></li><li><p>Strong data analysis skills on large quantitative and qualitative datasets</p></li><li><p>Strong presentation skills, focused on telling a story with insights</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to apply to research and business questions</p></li><li><p>Proactive, adaptive, and collaborative work style</p></li></ul><p> <br />Just like the best ensemble casts of our favorite shows, Hulu embraces diversity and is an inclusive environment. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
