The Procurement Sourcing Manager for the Contact Centre at Verizon is responsible for managing relationships with global suppliers, focusing on cost structures and contracting frameworks to enhance service delivery. - Responsibilities
- Negotiate commercial terms and establish new supplier relationships. ,
- Provide insights and strategies to optimize costs and service quality. ,
- Identify and implement contract improvements and optimization opportunities. ,
- Formulate pricing recommendations to enhance efficiency and service excellence. ,
- Manage relationships and resolve commercial issues in collaboration with technical and finance teams. ,
- Lead Cross Functional Teams (CFTs) to develop requirements and consensus on commercial approaches. ,
- Serve as a Trusted Advisor to business partners and propose sourcing strategies. ,
- Collaborate with business partners to assess needs and manage expectations. ,
- Represent Verizon at industry forums and events. ,
- Perform contract administration and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards. ,
- Prepare deal memos and compliance documentation for contract execution. ,
- Participate in Operational Reviews with senior executives. ,
- Support other sourcing initiatives as required.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree. ,
- Relevant work experience in strategic sourcing or related fields.
- Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree or equivalent advanced degree. ,
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM). ,
- Accounting or Finance experience. ,
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. ,
