Teen Director
About the position
The Teen Director is responsible for the recruitment and coordination of teen programs and activities at the Boys & Girls Club, focusing on the development and implementation of engaging programs for teens aged 13 and older. This role involves overseeing a variety of programs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for youth, and fostering community relations to enhance program visibility and participation.
Responsibilities
Direct overall operation of a broad range of programs for teen members, including Education, Social Recreation, Arts & Crafts, and Physical Education.

Plan, develop, implement, coordinate, and supervise programs and program staff.

Market and establish community relations to support club activities.
,
Ensure the health and safety of members in program settings.
,
Evaluate programs continually to ensure they meet the needs of diverse members.
,
Implement and direct daily programs and activities, encouraging member participation and skill development.
,
Manage administrative functions of teen program areas, including record keeping and budget oversight.
Requirements
Four-year degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience.

Minimum of two years work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization.

Strong communication skills and understanding of group dynamics.
,
Demonstrated organizational and project management abilities.
,
Recommended CPR and First Aid Certifications.
,
Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.

Ability to plan and implement engaging programs for youth.
