Overview

The Quality Analyst II (SW Development) is responsible for performing scenario-based testing from the perspectives of various client roles. The purpose is to investigate problems, identify root causes and document findings to improve software.

    Responsibilities
  • Develops, publishes, and executes test plan and other functional documents
  • Investigates problems, identifies their root cause, and clearly documents findings
  • Collaborates with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to develop, validate, and refine test plans and scenarios.
  • Accepts, analyzes, and prioritizes system bugs as reported by internal and external end users, assuring compliance with Q&A standards.
  • Leads and mentors team members in best practices for testing, ensuring adherence to QA standards.
  • Raises usability concerns and proposes solutions to problems after performing thorough investigation, considering the needs of the client.
  • Propose software improvements based on testing findings.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and business needs
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting. Required

    Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of significant Quality Assurance experience, including functional, integration, and regression testing with direct experience in the development and implementation of test data and exposure to industry leading Quality Assurance related testing and automation tools.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Python scripting and a strong working knowledge of SQL, with proven experience in testing complex data-related software.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Windows application design and testing products and methodology with proficiency in multi-platform web browser testing products and methodology with demonstrated skills in analysis, documentation, and presentation tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
    Mental Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.
  • Skilled in iterative development cycles with frequent releases and experience with “Scrum” methodologies.
  • Experience with healthcare data, preferred.
  • Knowledge of public cloud (AWS/OCI), preferred.
  • Experience operating in an Agile environment, preferred.
  • Experience testing web application built on Angular, preferred
    Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance.
  • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
  • No adverse environmental conditions expected.

Base compensation ranges from $90,000 to $118,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
