Senior Marketing Operations Architect

We’re seeking a highly skilled Sr. Marketing Operations Architect to design, maintain and scale Grafana’s marketing technology infrastructure. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of building a seamless, data-driven marketing ecosystem—ensuring data integrity, automating key processes, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Operations Infrastructure Development: Design, build, and maintain the automated infrastructure that powers our marketing operations, ensuring seamless data flow between systems, streamline marketing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Data Integrity Management: Proactively monitor and troubleshoot data integrity issues across multiple systems (CRM, email tools, analytics platforms, automation platforms, data warehouses), identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Build and maintain reporting tables, analyze marketing performance, and provide insights to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and engineering teams to maintain and optimize data workflows
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and addressing complex challenges, with the ability to develop creative solutions.
  • AI Curiosity and Proficiency: Demonstrated curiosity about AI and its potential applications in marketing operations. Experience with or a strong desire to learn about AI tools and techniques relevant to marketing automation

Skills:

  • Marketing Operations Expertise: 5-7+ years experience. Deep understanding of marketing operations best practices and experience building and scaling marketing automation infrastructure.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience building tables from disparate data sources for downstream use. reporting and analyzing data. Proficient in SQL, BigQuery (or similar data warehouse), general understanding of dbt or data modeling systems is a plus. 
  • Marketing Tech Stack Knowledge: Strong understanding of data synchronization across systems like Salesforce, Customer.io, Workato, FiveTran, and analytics tools.
  • Salesforce Mastery: Advanced experience managing marketing-related Salesforce objects, handling integrations, reporting and leveraging Salesforce data in BigQuery.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot complex data flows, solve ambiguous problems, and move quickly to implement solutions.
  • Collaboration & Agility: Strong teamwork skills with a proactive approach to aligning stakeholders across marketing, sales, and data teams.
  • Driving Results in a Dynamic Environment: A highly adaptable and proactive individual. Balances strategic thinking with efficient execution to drive results, and is a collaborative team member.

In the US, the base compensation range for this role is $125,00 - $148,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Benefits include equity, bonus (if applicable) and other benefits listed here.
