Drug Sourcing Lead (Remote, US)

House Rx is on a mission to make specialty medications more affordable and accessible for patients suffering from chronic illnesses like cancer and autoimmune disorders. We provide clinics with specialized technology and support from pharmacists and care coordinators to dispense medication directly to their patients, known as medically integrated dispensing (MID).

Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the subject matter expert in strategic drug sourcing and advise on the company's growth strategy into new specialty areas • Develop purchasing strategies to achieve optimal profitability across specialty areas • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers • Understand drug margins and payer reimbursement economics • Present recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Operations & Analytics, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance, to develop data-driven strategies and initiatives that drive business growth and operational efficiency • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies within sourcing and specialty pharmacy operations • Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall effectiveness and competitiveness of our programs

Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within Specialty Pharmacy • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions • Excellent communication, business partnering, and negotiation skills • Proven track record of driving business insights and operational improvements through data-driven decision-making • Strong foundation of inventory management systems and/or procurement software • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, particularly related to pharmacy operations and data privacy (HIPAA)
