Overview

Selective Insurance is looking for a Legal Processing Support candidate to work onsite at our Subrogation Legal office in Hamilton NJ.

This role provides clerical/processing support pertaining to the administrative functions of the area, department, or region. May include some or all of the below essential functions. Performs duties in a timely and accurate fashion working under close supervision of assigned manager. Meets all agreed upon schedules and deadlines. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
• Utilize PC to enter and verify data necessary to open and close files in Legal Management Software.
• Receive, open, scan and save paper mail, faxes and e-mail to Legal Management Software and electronically distribute to appropriate parties.
• Download legal filings from Courts, properly naming and saving the pleadings to Legal Management Software and electronically distribute to appropriate parties.
• May receive and greet visitors and perform other general administrative duties including
• Answering the phone
• Retrieving voices mails
• Scheduling meetings, inspections, appearances and arranging calendars
• Confirming meetings, inspections, appearances
• This position is a 100% in office position and NOT a hybrid work from home job.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Requirements

• Ability to provide exceptional customer service for internal and external clients.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)

Education And Experience
• High school diploma preferred
• 2-4 years of general office work including some experience in prioritizing work and meeting deadlines.

The actual base salary is based on geographic location, and the range is representative of salaries for this role throughout Selective's footprint. Additional considerations include relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance, and business needs.

Pay Range

USD $37,000.00 - USD $54,000.00 /Yr.
