About the position

The Social Media Marketing Strategy Intern at Disney Consumer Products will support the marketing team by creating innovative social media content and strategies. Responsibilities
• Ideate content concepts for Disney products on social platforms and analyze performance.

• Capture and edit content, producing multiple deliverables weekly.

• Build a community for social platform handles, engaging with content and connecting with followers.

• Provide generational knowledge into Gen Z trends and ways of thinking.

• Participate in developing social media plans/calendars.

• Develop influencer lists for gifting opportunities tied to products.

Requirements
• Actively engaged on a wide array of social media platforms with knowledge of content formats, functionality, and the latest trends.

• Experience in content creation.

• Ability to improve social content formats creatively.

• Partnership and relationship skills.

• Experience with TikTok as a user and creator.

• Creatively minded with the ability to inspire creative teams.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience and proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop & Illustrator.

• Previous experience with social marketing entertainment brands or experiences.

• Previous work experience in marketing strategy, consumer packaged goods, advertising agency, and/or brand management.
