- Listen to recorded interviews and focus groups to transcribe audio content accurately
- Use transcription software to convert spoken words into written text
- Ensure adherence to specified formats and maintain accuracy and consistency in transcriptions
- Collaborate with researchers and project leads to meet project deadlines
- Proofread and edit transcriptions for clarity and readability, while maintaining confidentiality
- What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current undergraduate student at UW-Madison
- Strong attention to detail and excellent listening skills
- Proficient typing speed and familiarity with transcription software or willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Commitment of 5-10 hours per week

- Interest in research and data analysis
- Previous experience with transcription or related tasks
