Requirements: • Master's degree in Special Education or a related field • Current Michigan Special Education Teaching Certification • Previous experience in a special education setting, with a deep understanding of various disabilities • Understanding of remote teaching tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams) • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Proficient organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment

Responsibilities: • Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student • Provide engaging and differentiated instruction through remote platforms to accommodate various learning styles and abilities • Take advantage of technology to create interactive and accessible learning materials • Record and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to support student success • Cooperate with parents, guardians, and school staff to maintain open lines of communication • Administer support and guidance to students to help them develop self-advocacy and organizational skills • Actively participate in remote team meetings and professional development sessions
