Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities: Efficient and safe unloading of goods from trucks, followed by proper grouping and storage according to the company's policies, is an important task. Load the merchandise for delivery to Dollar General stores and make sure that the items are secured properly in the truck. Manage the use of warehouse machinery, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, in a manner that is both safe and effective. Verify the freight to confirm the precision of the handling and distribution of commodities. Prioritizing cleanliness and orderliness in your work area is essential, in addition to upholding safety procedures. Play an active role in inventory control by conducting frequent cycle counts and proactively addressing any discrepancies discovered. The accomplishment of productivity goals and deadlines hinges on the willingness of team members to collaborate.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and Skills:
Prior knowledge of the machinery and protocol used in warehouse operations is necessary for those who want to excel in the field of logistics.
Ability to navigate forklifts and other equipment for material handling is an important trait (instruction can be supplied).
