Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Remote Special Education Teacher to provide individualized educational services to students across Minnesota. Key Responsibilities
IEP Development: Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address the unique needs of each student.
Instructional Delivery: Provide engaging and effective instruction in a virtual environment, using a variety of teaching methods to support students with special needs.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, adapt teaching strategies, and provide feedback to ensure students are meeting their educational goals.
Collaboration: Work closely with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Family Communication: Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and strategies to support learning at home.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
Certification: Valid Minnesota teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in special education, with a preference for candidates experienced in remote instruction.
Skills: Proficient in using educational technology, effective communication, and strong organizational skills.
