• Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into written documents
• Edit and proofread transcriptions for accuracy and clarity
• Translate audio recordings from one language to another, if applicable
• Follow specific guidelines and formatting requirements, such as the Chicago Manual Style
• Research unfamiliar terms or topics to ensure accurate transcription
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
• Proficient in English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy
• Strong listening skills and ability to understand various accents and dialects
• Experience with transcription software or tools is preferred
• Familiarity with the Chicago Manual Style is a plus
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
