We are looking for the teachers who have experience in teaching AP biology. It would be better if you are/were a high school teacher in America. You can work wherever you like only if the environment is quiet and the network is stable...
The students are mainly in China and the USA, so the time to teach is usually from 5:30-9:00 am EST and 5:30-10:00 PM EST every day. Each class will last 1 hour or 1.5 hours. We will match the students??time with your schedule and give you the class that you can take. You can take this as a part-time job or full-time job. Once you take a class, you are supposed to finish the whole course and can not quit in the middle of a course. If you are experienced in teaching AP Biology, come and join us.
Teachers are supposed to prepare the lessons before class, such as designing lesson plans and making Power Point based on the materials. Also, teachers need to post assignments after class and check students??homework once they turn in.
- Duties??- Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students preparing for standardized tests
- Develop and implement customized lesson plans based on students' needs and goals
- Teach test-taking strategies and techniques to improve students' performance
- Review and explain test content, including math, science, and verbal sections
- Assist students in understanding complex concepts and problem-solving techniques
- Administer practice tests and assess students' progress
- Track and report on students' performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Experience??- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. biology, science, education)
- Previous experience in teaching or tutoring, particularly in test preparation
- Strong knowledge of the subject matter.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and lesson planning
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain concepts and engage with students
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students
